Famous Failures

A friend and a very talented photographer, who I have collaborated with several times, posted this on his Facebook wall. It is images and words like this that keep me going and deal with the naysayers. However, I am ineffably giddy to say that the first three chapters of my novel have received very positive reviews thus far, so I am tickled pink and pleased with that. :)

Now, I just can't resist a knock-knock joke. It suits the topic of this post:

Moral? Never give up and ignore the naysayers. Oh, and in order to effectively withstand the naysayers, keep working hard to improve whatever it is you're working on (whether it be writing, obtaining a PhD, improving your health, being a loving spouse, etc.)
